Mackinaw takes a break from ice trials
WHITEFISH BAY, Mich. (Mar. 14, 2007) -- The cutter Mackinaw (WLBB-30) took a break from ice trials after testing the ship's capability in 24-inch thick ice at 12 knots along the St. Marys and Neebish Rivers to Whitefish Bay March 14.
