COAST GUARD SUSPENDS SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE PERSON IN THE WATER MARBLEHEAD, Ohio -- The Coast Guard suspended the search for a possible person in the water here at approximately 9:30 a.m. today. Coast Guard and Canadian search and rescue crews searched for Donald Placko, 64, on Sunday night after 40 hours of air and sea sorties covering 120 square miles. A good samaritan discovered Placko's 24-foot pleasure craft Sunday evening and notified Station Marblehead when he noticed the keys in the ignition with no one onboard. The Coast Guard extends its deepest sympathies to the Placko family. ###
